Assignment D10Advanced

For
the D10 Advanced assignment:

1. Complete the regular D10 assignment which introduces use of
arrays in C.

2. Complete the any two (2) of the following as additions to
your program in Step 1 above:

a). Have
your program determine the number of parts whose diameter varies by more than
one standard deviation from the average.
Write this number in an appropriate message to the **d10res.dat** file. Also write
the diameters of those wrist pins which vary by more than one standard
deviation to second result file, **d10bad.dat**. Print **d10bad.dat
**and turn it in with your other sheets.

b).
Determine how many parts have a diameter which exceeds __two__
standard deviations from the average, and write this number in an appropriate
message to the **d10res.dat file**.

c). Use a C
function that you write to calculate the average or mean value of the wrist pin
diameters. (Hint: Check Chapter 5 and see also Section 6.7)

d).
Calculate the median diameter of all 20 wrist pins. Print this value on the **d10res.dat** file.
