The course engineering biotechnology has been taught to seniors every year at Drexel University since 1996. The nature of the course content, language assessment, is documented in this paper to be presented in at the Annual conference of American Association Engineers at Knoxville Tennessee, June 2003. This manuscript describes in part how the course content has changed in the last 7 years Our instructors experimented with teaching this course was promoted at the 1996 Annual Conference of ASSE. Subsequently a daylong workshop on teaching Engineering Biotechnology was presented at the School for Chemical Engineering Faculty, under the auspices of ASEE at Snowbird, Utah.
