Here, one sees displayed the three types of surface grinders
	On top are the type I and type II surface grinders, which both have a horizontal spindle.� In the type I machine the table reciprocates, whereas in the type II machine the table rotates.� (The rotation of the table in the type 2 produces a machining pattern that works well with seals.)
	On the bottom are both type III styles.� In one case the table reciprocates.� In the other (blanchard) it rotates.
