Properties of polymeric materials and their relationship to chemical structure. Macromolecules: molecular forces, configuration and conformation, copolymers, molecular weight, solubility and solution properties. Bulk polymer properties: rubber, glassy state, viscoelasticity and relaxation phenomena, and crystallinity.
