Profile

"I have two separate, major research groups: integrated optics and fundamental surface science. Integrated optics is a technology which is finding applications in a variety of fields, including telecommunications, fiber-optic sensors, and signal processing. Our work has focussed on the design and fabrication of large-scale photonic integrated circuits (PICs) and on new integrated optical devices, including laser sources, modulators, and isolators."
