Professor Ateshian joined Columbia in July 1, 1991. His research include Stereophotogrammetry, magnetic resonance imaging, and computed tomography techniques for reconstruction of musculoskeletal anatomy, Experimental determination of diarthrodial joint kinematics and contact, analysis of articular cartilage mechanics under finite deformation.
