Course Information

Prerequisites: ELEN E6761: Computer Communication Network and ELEN E6950: Wireless and Mobile Networking, I; or instructor’s permission if student has the necessary background through work experience, etc. Description: This course if Part II of ELEN E6950: Wireless and Mobile Networking, and will include third generation packet switched systems, wireless LANs, mobile computing and communications. Study of some current research topics. Quantitative homework assignments may require use of a mathematical software package. We will discuss a number of research issues related to emerging and future wireless/mobile networks. A project based on readings from the literature will be required.
