APP TRANSP/CHEM RATE PHENOMENA
Introduction to fluid dynamics and heat mass transfer and some applications in heterogeneous reaction systems. Students must attend lectures of the course Ch.E. E3110 (Transport I: Effect of velocity, temperature, and concentration gradients and material properties on fluid flow, heat and mass transfer and rate of chemical reactions; differential and overall balance; engineering concepts and semi-empirical correlations; physical dimensions and units of measurement; application to chemical and materials processing problems) and complete a process design project.
