Profile

Robert Pearlman is a patent, trademark and licensing attorney in practice for over thirty years. During a good portion of this time he has been an adjunct professor in the department of Chemical Engineering at Columbia, teaching industrial and intellectual property law. Mr. Pearlman has headed the intellectual property function at EXXON Research and Engineering and the BOC Group (a British multinational), as well as serving as an expert witness and arbitrator. He has maintained close relations with Columbia, where he obtained a B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering, followed by an LLP Degree from the Fordham Law School.
