Baseband pulse transmission (Nyquist criterion, Eye pattern, intersymbol interference). Passband data transmission (one- and two-dimensional modulation: AQM, MSK, and DMT). The wireless channel (Rayleigh and Rician fading, coherence time, multipath). Multiple access (spread spectrum, CDMA, system capacity).
