Prerequisites: E.E. E3301, E.E. E3910. Recommended preparation: E.E. E3106. Continuation of the study of analog circuits: review of frequency response, feedback, power circuits, filters, and oscillators. A/D and D/A converters. Digital circuits: review of logic design. Use of switching devices. Analysis and design of NMOS, CMOS, TTL, and ECL logic gates. Considerations of speed, power, chip area, noise margin, and loading.
