Courses Taught

After receiving a doctorate in Anatomy from Columbia , I joined the Faculty of Medicine in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology. My research interests have been towards cellular biophysics and specifically sub cellular liquid crystalline systems as applied primarily to the structure and function of striated muscle. More recently, research collaborations have been forged with departments of Orthopaedic Surgery and Anesthesiology. During my tenure at the College of Physicians & Surgeons, I have been a teacher of Human Anatomy and currently Director of Clinical Anatomy. I also have taught graduate level courses in the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences and the School of Engineering.
