Besides for the game, the remote control allows the user to turn on/off the lights and stop the alarm from beeping. When the console is placed directly over the light switch, the switch can be moved using a servo-motor and a complex array of gears. The light can also be turned on/off by way of the onboard on/off switch. If for some reason you are not in the mood to listen to 20 seconds of beeping (not a morning person!?!?), you can prematurely stop it by pressing the Alarm button on the remote control.
