Accounts:

• Accounts are available for a fee of $50 per semester
• No account sharing is allowed
• All students are required to comply with the disk usage quotas announced in class.
• Administration of the lab reserves the right to revoke accounts without reimbursement if lab policies are not followed.

Hours:

• Weekdays: 10 am until 7 pm
• Weekends: to be announced

General conduct:

• Food and drink are NOT allowed in the lab
• All workstations have the capability of playing CD's. Use of headphones is required while playing CD's.
• Do NOT reboot machines or unplug peripherals. Inform lab staff or volunteers of any problems you might encounter
• Please be considerate of others: try and keep the noise down, clean up your workstation after you are done, etc.
• All students are limited to using one machine at a time

Student volunteers:

• In addition to lab staff, students volunteers are available to answer your questions

Backup media:

• Jazz and Zip drives are available for backup purposes.
• Cartridges can be purchased at the ACIS center in Philosophy Hall.

Color prints:

• High quality color prints are available: Please contact the system administrator for options and prices

Remote access:

• Remote use of machines is not allowed while there is a class in session
• Processor intensive remote access (i.e. rendering, FEA) is allowed only between 8 pm and 8 am
