CORROSION OF METALS
MULTI-MEDIA MODULE
DEVELOPED THROUGH THE NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION'S GATEWAY ENGINEERING EDUCATION COALITION
This multi-media module was developed at Drexel University by Dr. Alan Lawley to help students understand corrosion mechanisms. It describes corrosion in three different general situations, these are corrosion in a composition cell, concentration cell, and a stress cell. A sample of the module is given below.
THE USER SELECTS FROM THREE CORROSION TYPES ON THE MAIN MENU.
EACH TYPE OF CORROSION IS DEFINED AND EXPLAINED WITH GRAPHICS AND EQUATIONS.
This module was composed using Authorware ©Version 6.0. The module has been Webpackaged for viewing the module online and also
Packaged for Downloading.
