This multi-media module was developed at Drexel University by Dr. Alan Lawley, Dr. Surya Kalidindi, Dr. Linda Schadler, and Mr. Sundararaman Narayanan, to help students understand fracture mechanics. A sample of the module is given below.

This module explains the concept of material fracture through the use of real world examples,




animated graphics,



and equations.
