The Cooper Union participated in the Globetech-IV Simulation Project, which began October 12, 1998. They other participating schools were Carnegie Mellon, the Albi School of Mines, from France, and the University of Nancy, also from France. Cooper has established productive and cooperative long-term relationships with Carnegie and Albi. Because of these relationships, the Cooper Union hopes to create and participate in other joint projects and ventures in upcoming years.
