Engineering Horizons is a collection of course modules addressing engineering techical issues at the forefront of the modern techological public environment. There are many modules, each intended to be of approximately two week duration, which are assembled for a specific offering during any given term at Drexel University. The level of the modules is intended for a student of any major who has completed sophomore standing. The course is thus geared not only for the students of a major to which the module pertains but also to broaden the opportunities for students to learn about subject matter outside of their traditional discipline while putting the subject matter into the context of their own disciplinary interests. The student thus gains an interdisciplinary professional perspective. The modules available are identified by clicking on the site below. The modules generally will have classroom presentation materials, slides, external references and student assignments. They may be independently reviewed and or downloaded to fit the objectives of an instructor or course at other institutions.
