The McNair Program, in conjunction with Gateway, fosters undergraduate research opportunities for students from underrepresented populations. The goal of the program is to expose these students to research opportunities so that more students from these groups will pursue graduate studies. Every year NJIT runs a symposium on the research performed in this program. This booklet describes the projects undertaken by McNair program participants this year, and includes brief biographies of the student participants and their faculty mentors.
