Student Development Initiatives
Industry wants students who are effective communicators, and one of the main methods of communication in the professional world is through presentations. While knowing how to use an application, such as Microsoft's PowerPoint, is important for a good presentation, what is more important is knowing how to present - what are the qualities of a good slide, how to overcome anxiety, and how to more effectively deliver this presentation. This presentation will describe, through a series of examples and a seven step method, how students can create and present effective technical presentations.
