The teaching of fluid mechanics at the Cooper Union has been revised to make it an interactive design model. Key fluid mechanics principles are demonstrated using design project assignments, demonstrations/experiments, videos, and lectures. Bench scale equipment, available for student use outside of class time, is used to demonstrate basic fluid mechanics principles.
