Freshman/Sophomore Experience
To fully benefit from the early physics and mathematics courses of an engineering program of study the student should have a mastery of several underlying topics. The material presented here is intended to serve as additional support for students seeking to improve their mastery of these topics (Simultaneous Equations, Fundamentals of Plane Geometry, Use of Trigonometric Functions, Fundamentals of Solid Geometry, and Vectors). At Drexel University this material is available as a WebCT course that entering students may access prior to their first quarter of formal studies. Each unit contains an introduction, interactive problems (WebCT version), sample problems, and tests.
