Freshman/Sophomore Experience

1. New Curriculum Innovation Contact Name: M. Heimer Organization:Florida International University First semester freshmen are engaged in reverse engineering design projects. The second semester features a single forward design project that is suitable for intra-team competition. First semester sophomores begin a mechano-electrical design project that will span their entire sophomore year. All projects require oral presentations and written reports. All courses emphasize developing the emerging professional engineer.
