This past year, we began vigorously to exploit and infuse videoconferencing into many of our Coalition activities. Our starting point began with the installation of videoconference technology in each of our partner institutions. The concept was to provide cross-coalition opportunities for our Deans, Governing Board Members, and faculty to use this technology in order to experience and envision other educational applications. To foster application of videoconferencing, we instituted bi-monthly and quarterly videoconferences with GB members and Deans respectively. These meetings served dual purposes: exposure to the technology and improved cross-coalition communication.
