CONDUCTIVITY

MULTI-MEDIA MODULE

DEVELOPED THROUGH THE NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION'S GATEWAY ENGINEERING EDUCATION COALITION

This multi-media module was developed at Drexel University by Dr. Linda Schadler to help students understand conductivity and the factors which affect it in both metals and semi-conductors. A sample of the module is given below.

This module explains the concept of electrical conductivity through the use of equations,
animation, like this example which shows the effect of dislocations on conductivity in a metal,

and interactive quizzes.
