PHASE I: Years 1-5

Evaluation has typically been confined to end point inspection of the student's curricular competence and faculty teaching quality through student exams and end of course student evaluations.

To assist the Coalition in assessing the level to which it is achieving its objectives, Gateway has engaged the Office of Faculty and TA Development of Ohio State University to work independently but also collaboratively with the local institutional leadership to develop, organize, and implement a comprehensive evaluation plan for the Coalition which includes both a central component and a distributed component among the institutions.
