To turn on the toy, first check to see that there are two AAA batteries in the battery compartment. The on/off switch is located on the bottom of the toy. To turn the toy on, put the switch on the "on" position. The toy can also be turned off by sliding the switch to the "off" position. To put the toy into sleep mode, slide the switch to the center.

You can give your toy a unique name of its own by pressing and holding both buttons until the LCD screen displays "NAME." You will have 5 seconds to record the name. You can also rename the toy once it is named. |

You can record your name by pressing and holding both buttons until the LCD screen displays "Name," and pressing the pink (reset) button. The LCD screen will change to "OWNER," and you will have 5 seconds to record your name. Once the toy records your name, it will be able to identify you by your voice. You can also change the owner by repeating the process. |
